Since then I've graduated to more sophisticated tools such a longarm quilting machine which allows greater range and flexibility in quilting. I've built a business making quilts for others. They, of course, are free to give these quilts to anyone they like.
I love to experiment with patterns, styles, and techniques, but my specialty is using dynamic colors with my quilts - whether for a baby or an adult. Young children are as excited by color as I am. Vibrant color adds excitement and drama to quilts, changing a tried and true pattern into something spectacular. I'm particularly fond of making memory quilts, quilts which honor a living person on a special occasion such as an anniversary - or bereavement quilts which capture the spirit of a special loved one now gone. Such quilts, often made from the clothes of the loved one, can be a unique treasure and a valuable aid in healing.

You can commission a quilt by either working with me on color and design -- or let me loose and be surprised! Either way, I guarantee you will be satisfied with the end product.
The art of quilt making has exploded in the last decade. So many new techniques and styles have been introduced that it is hard to keep up with them; however I seem to have found my niche, which seems to span the gap between traditional and contemporary, often incorporating a bit of both.
